Yard Sale Table Transformed

I live in a multi-generational home; a thirty one year old daughter, two adorable (yet noisy) granddaughters, plus one Himalayan cat. We have constant drama and chaos, 24/7.

So... I've decided to create a much needed space for myself (Nana) where I can escape to, to write, read, and paint. With all the drama in my life, I can envision a tranquil sanctuary, white and aqua blue, with punches of lime green....Calgon take me away! Since I live near the coast, I'll probably throw in a few seashells as well, to add a touch of nature.

Several years ago, I found a round antique 2 tier wooden table at a yard sale for only $15.00.  I've used it on and off, but finally gave it a home in the garage with all the other "someday I'll do something with this clutter."

Well, I am proud to say that today the table has a new life!! I painted it a bright and cheery lime green.  I can't believe how great it turned out!  Oh, by the way, this thrifty lady found the gallon of lime green paint at a thrift store for only $3.00.

Can you believe it???? It looks like something out of Pottery Barn. I have this awesome table that will add a nice punch of color to my craft room/studio, and it only cost me a total of $18.00!! Incredible.

Wait till you see what other treasures I found this week by being a thrifty shopper......til later.....
